Recent graduates can apply for a Tier 1 Graduate Entrepreneur Visa to start their company in the UK.
This visa is only granted for up to a year. If in this year their business proves to be lucrative, then this visa can be extended for another year.
Following the expiration of this visa, applicants can apply for a Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa for a further 3 years to continue with their business.

To be eligible for this visa, you must demonstrate:

  1. You are from outside the EEA.
  2. You have a Bachelor’s degree, a equivalent or a higher qualification.
  3. You are endorsed by a UK institution.
  4. You have a genuine business idea.
  5. You have met the required English language requirement.
  6. You have £50,000 to invest in your business from a recognised source.
  7. You are able to fully support yourself financially in the UK.
